Terms of Service
Last updated: September 26, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Fizzy House Cleaning Denver LLC ("Fizzy", "we", "us"), a residential cleaning company serving Denver, Colorado and the surrounding metro area. They cover your use of our website, fizzyhousecleaningdenver.com, and any cleaning you book with us. By using the website or booking a clean, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the website or book with us.
If something we confirm with you in writing for a particular booking differs from these terms, what we confirmed for that booking applies.
1. Quotes and bookings
A quote request is not a booking. Sending our quote or contact form asks us to get in touch. It doesn't reserve a time or create a contract. A lead form you send inside a social media app, such as Facebook or Instagram, is a quote request too. An offer in an ad isn't a price: we confirm what your clean costs, and what any offer requires, before you book.
You book through our booking system. When you're ready, we send you a link to book online. Your booking is confirmed when you complete it there and receive our confirmation, which includes the price, the date and what's included.
Our services. We offer three cleans: the Standard Clean, the Deep Clean and the Move In/Move Out Clean. What each one includes is listed room by room on our service comparison page. Other services, such as post-construction, garage or hourly cleaning, are quoted separately.
Prices are based on what you tell us. We price each clean from the details you give: the size and layout of the home, including the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the type of clean, its condition, how often we come, any add-ons or rooms you leave out, your location, and any offer that applies. You see the full price before you book. If the home turns out to be materially different when we arrive, for example larger or needing much more work than described, we'll tell you before we start. You can then choose to adjust the price, have us clean what fits the original price, or reschedule. We won't charge you more without your agreement.
2. Payment
Card on file. Bookings are paid by credit or debit card through our booking system, and payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you book, you add a card and authorize us to charge it for your cleanings and for any fee described in these terms, including a late-cancellation fee under section 5. Your full card number is held by Stripe; we can see only limited details such as the card type and its last four digits. Every booking needs a working card on file.
When we charge. We charge your card after each clean is completed and email you a receipt.
Authorization hold. To confirm the funds are available, we may place a temporary authorization hold on your card for the booking amount before your appointment, usually about 2 days ahead. A hold is not a charge. It becomes the final charge after your clean or is released, and your bank decides how quickly a released hold disappears from your statement.
If the hold is declined, we'll let you know by text, call or email so you can update your card or pay another way. If it isn't sorted out in time, we may cancel the booking (usually 24 hours before the appointment) or reschedule it, and no cancellation fee applies.
Tips are appreciated but never expected, and go to your cleaning team.
Questions about a charge. If something looks wrong, contact us first at support@fizzyhousecleaningdenver.com. If we made a mistake we'll put it right, usually faster than a card dispute.
3. Recurring cleaning
Recurring plans are discounted off our one-time price:
| Plan | Discount |
|---|---|
| Weekly | 20% |
| Every Other Week | 15% |
| Every 3 Weeks | 10% |
| Monthly | 5% |
| Quarterly | 0% (each clean at our one-time price) |
Each visit is booked and charged separately, after it's completed. There's no upfront payment for the plan.
The discount depends on the plan continuing. It reflects a commitment to regular visits, so if you end a plan after only its first clean, that clean is re-priced at our one-time price:
| When you cancel your plan | What you pay |
|---|---|
| Before your first clean | Nothing, unless that clean is less than 48 hours away (section 5 applies) |
| After your first clean | The difference between our one-time price and the plan price you paid for that clean |
| After two or more cleans | Nothing extra |
For example, if your home's one-time price is $200 and you choose Every Other Week (15% off), your first clean costs $170. If you cancel the plan after that clean, we charge the $30 difference to your card on file. Once your second clean is done, there's nothing extra to pay when you cancel.
If your plan comes with a conditional offer (section 4) and you end it before the offer's conditions are complete, section 4 sets what you pay instead of this table.
To skip a single visit, give us the notice in section 5.
To cancel or change your plan, call or text (720) 730-6960 or email support@fizzyhousecleaningdenver.com at any time. We'll confirm the cancellation in writing. Cancelling ends your upcoming visits, and you won't be charged for any of them, except that if your next visit is less than 48 hours away, the fee in section 5 applies to that visit.
4. Promotional offers
Some offers are conditional: for example, a discount on a Deep Clean if you keep a Recurring plan for a set number of cleans after it. The conditions of each offer are shown when you book it.
Only Weekly, Every Other Week, Every 3 Weeks and Monthly Recurring plans are eligible for promotional offers. Quarterly plans aren't eligible, and Quarterly cleans don't count toward an offer's conditions.
If you take a conditional offer and don't complete its conditions, the offer's discounts no longer apply, and we charge the difference between what you paid and the original price of the cleans already completed. The original price is what a clean would have cost without the offer. For a one-time clean, such as the Deep Clean, it's our one-time price. For a Recurring clean, it's your plan's usual price under section 3: our one-time price less your plan's discount. There's one exception: if your plan ends after only its first Recurring clean, that clean's original price is our one-time price, as section 3 provides. A one-time clean doesn't count as one of your plan's cleans. This difference is the only charge for not completing an offer, and section 3 adds nothing on top of it.
For example, with an offer that discounts a Deep Clean and the Recurring cleans after it, as long as you keep your plan for three Recurring cleans:
| When you stop | What you pay |
|---|---|
| After the Deep Clean | The Deep Clean at our one-time price |
| After the Deep Clean and one Recurring clean | The Deep Clean and that Recurring clean at our one-time price |
| After the Deep Clean and two Recurring cleans | The Deep Clean at our one-time price, and both Recurring cleans at your plan's usual price |
| After the Deep Clean and all three Recurring cleans | Nothing extra. The offer's discounts are yours to keep |
In dollars: if a Recurring clean's one-time price is $200 and you choose Every Other Week, your plan price is $170, and an extra 20% off brings it to $136. If you stop after one Recurring clean, we charge the $64 difference for it; after two, we charge $34 for each. Either way, the Deep Clean also goes back to our one-time price.
Once an offer's conditions are complete, your plan continues under section 3, along with any discount the offer gives on later cleans.
5. Rescheduling and cancellations
Plans change, and we'll always work with you. Our team's day is built around your booking, and a late cancellation usually leaves that time unfilled. The fees below are our reasonable estimate, agreed in advance, of what a late cancellation costs us, since that's hard to know ahead of time. They're not a penalty, and they're the only amount we charge for the cancellation.
| Notice before your appointment | Fee |
|---|---|
| 48 hours or more | No fee |
| Less than 48 hours | 25% of the booking price |
| Less than 24 hours, including the same day | 50% of the booking price |
To cancel or reschedule, call or text (720) 730-6960 or email support@fizzyhousecleaningdenver.com. The time we receive your message is the time that counts.
No access. If our team arrives at the booked time and can't get in, or is turned away, it counts as a cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice.
We waive the fee for a genuine emergency, illness or severe weather. Tell us what happened.
If we have to cancel, because of illness, severe weather or anything else on our side, there's no fee, and we'll reschedule you as soon as we can.
6. Getting ready for your clean
Your price assumes our team spends its time cleaning, so a few minutes of preparation help:
- Tidy up. Please pick up clothes, toys and clutter so floors, counters and surfaces can be reached. We clean around items we can't easily move.
- Pets. Please keep pets secured or away from the areas being cleaned, and tell us about any that may be anxious or unfriendly. We're not responsible for a pet getting out through a door our team has to use.
- Valuables. Please put away cash, jewelry, medication, and anything fragile or irreplaceable.
- Access. Make sure our team can get in at the booked time, and tell us about any gate, entry code, alarm or parking instructions. A key or code you give us is used only to enter for your cleaning.
- Utilities. We need running water and electricity to clean.
Arrival time. Traffic, parking and the clean before yours can run over, so please allow our team a 30-minute grace period after your booked arrival time. If we'll be later than that, we'll text or call to let you know.
7. What we bring, and what we don't do
We bring our own supplies and equipment, including a vacuum. If you'd like us to use your products or your vacuum instead, we're happy to. We're not responsible for normal wear to your own equipment, and if it isn't working when we arrive, we may not be able to do the part of the clean that needs it.
For our team's safety and your home's protection, we don't:
- move heavy furniture or appliances, or clean behind or under them unless you've moved them first;
- use ladders taller than a three-step stepladder, or clean what we can't safely reach from one;
- clean up bodily fluids, human or animal waste, blood, needles or sharps, or drug paraphernalia;
- clean homes with an active pest infestation;
- clean homes with severe hoarding, or conditions far beyond what was booked;
- clean blinds or fixtures that are fragile or already damaged.
If we can't safely clean. Our team may decline or stop a clean if they find one of the conditions listed above, an unsecured aggressive animal, or a situation that is threatening or unsafe. If that's because of a condition in your home that wasn't disclosed or dealt with before the visit, it counts as a cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice. We'll explain what happened and share photos, and once it's resolved you can rebook: if you rebook within 14 days, we credit that fee toward the new clean. We never charge a fee when our team stops for a reason that has nothing to do with the conditions above.
No clean includes:
- removing belongings, or items left in cabinets and closets;
- repairing walls, carpet or other damage.
Add-ons. The inside of the fridge and oven, and interior windows, are cleaned only when you add them to your booking.
8. Changes to your clean
To add or change anything, please arrange it with us rather than asking your cleaner on the day. Our cleaners can't agree to changes in scope or price. Contact us by 5 pm the day before your clean where you can, and we'll do our best with later requests.
We may assign a different cleaner or team to your booking, including Recurring cleans, and will let you know in advance where we can.
9. Our 24-hour re-clean guarantee
If we miss something or don't clean an area to your satisfaction, Fizzy House Cleaning Denver LLC will come back and re-clean that area at no charge.
- How to use it: contact us within 24 hours of your clean at (720) 730-6960 or support@fizzyhousecleaningdenver.com and tell us what was missed. Photos help. If you're home during the clean, you're welcome to point it out to your cleaner before they leave.
- When: we'll arrange the re-clean with you as soon as we can, normally within a few days.
- What it covers: re-cleaning areas that were part of the clean you booked, including any add-on you booked. It doesn't cover areas we couldn't reach or weren't asked to clean, anything under section 7 other than a booked add-on, or a refund.
- Hourly bookings aren't covered. If you book us for a set number of hours, we work through your priorities in the time you've booked, and you can always add time.
10. Damage
Our team is careful, and we're insured. If something is damaged during your clean, please tell us within 24 hours, with photos if you can. We'll look into it, and where we're responsible, we'll repair it, replace it, or pay its actual cash value, at our choice.
We're not responsible for damage caused by an item's pre-existing wear or defects, improper installation or assembly, or ordinary use of an item for its intended purpose, such as a fixture that fails when cleaned in the normal way. None of this limits our responsibility for damage caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11. Our team
Our cleaners are part of our team. While we're cleaning for you, please don't recruit them to work for you privately; if you'd like to talk about how our team works for you, contact us directly. This is a request of you as a customer. It doesn't restrict any of our cleaners, who are always free to work wherever they choose.
12. Ending or refusing service
You can stop using our service at any time. We may decline or stop providing service with notice by text or email, including for safety reasons or if our team is treated with abuse or harassment. We'll never refuse or end service on a basis prohibited by law, and we'll always address you by the name you ask us to use. Any clean already completed is still payable.
13. Text messages
When you submit a form on our website, we may contact you by phone, email and automated text message about your request and any cleaning you book, such as confirmations and reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Full details are in our SMS Terms. We never use that permission for marketing, and we never sell or share your mobile number for anyone else's marketing.
The lead forms in our ads on social media apps, such as Facebook and Instagram, ask for that same permission, in the same words we show next to the button on our forms, and submitting one is how you agree there. We check that the form really shows those words before we treat sending it as your agreement to texts. If one of those forms has a box about texting and you leave it unchecked, we don't text you, though we may still answer your request by email.
14. Using our website
Please use the website only to read about our services and to contact us. Don't use it to break the law, to send us someone else's personal information without their permission, to submit false or misleading requests, to try to reach parts of the site or its systems that aren't public, or to interfere with how it runs for anyone else.
The text, photographs, logo and design on the site belong to us or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Some pages embed or link to other services, such as a Google Maps view of the areas we serve. We don't control those services, and their own terms apply.
We keep the website accurate and current, but we can't promise it's free of errors or always available. It is provided as it is, to the fullest extent the law allows.
If anything on the website doesn't work for you, whether with a screen reader, on your device or otherwise, call, text or email us and we'll help you get a quote or book another way, and fix the problem.
15. Limits on our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for loss or damage caused by our gross negligence, willful misconduct or fraud, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Subject to that, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income or lost opportunities, arising from the website or our services.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. A booking you've already made stays under the terms that applied when you made it.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado.
