Privacy Policy

Fizzy House Cleaning Denver LLC ("Fizzy", "we", "us") cleans homes in and around Denver, Colorado. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, fizzyhousecleaningdenver.com, through the lead forms in our ads on social media apps, such as Facebook and Instagram, through our booking system, and when you hire us or talk to us; what we do with it; and the choices you have. It describes what we actually do. If that changes, we'll update this page first.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote or send us a message. Your name, a phone number and/or an email address, the kind of cleaning you're interested in, and anything else you tell us. As a record of what you agreed to, we also keep the consent sentence shown next to the button, when you sent the form, which page you sent it from, and your IP address and browser type.

When you answer one of our ads. Our ads on social media apps, such as Facebook and Instagram, can open a form inside the app. When you send that form, the app passes us the answers you gave: your name, a phone number and/or an email address, and anything else the form asked, such as your ZIP code, the size of your home or how often you'd like cleaning. The app may fill some answers in from your account, and you can change them before you send it. We also keep which app you were in, the ad, ad set and campaign behind it, which form you used, whether it came from one of our own posts rather than a paid ad, the time you sent it, and, if the form had a permission box, whether you checked it. Where the form carries our permission sentence and you agree to it, we keep that wording too, as the record of what you agreed to. A form inside an app doesn't give us your IP address or browser type, and we receive nothing else about your account: not your profile, your posts or what else you do in the app.

When you book. The address to be cleaned, details about your home and the cleaning (such as its size, pets, parking and any special requests), and how our team gets in, such as a key, a door, gate or garage code, or alarm instructions. Card payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor, through our booking system. We don't store your full card number ourselves. The booking system shows us only enough to recognize the card, such as its last four digits.

When you talk to us. If you call, text or email us, we keep a record of the conversation, such as the messages, voicemails and call details. We may record phone calls, and our phone provider may transcribe them, so we have an accurate record of what was agreed and can train our team. If you report a problem with a clean, we keep what you send us, including photos.

Automatically. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for a short time (your IP address, browser type and the pages requested), for security and to keep the site running. If a form can't reach us for a technical reason, what you typed is written to those logs so we can still get back to you. This website doesn't use cookies or advertising trackers. We may use cookie-free analytics, such as Vercel's, to see how visitors find and use the site: the pages viewed, the website or link that brought you here (including any campaign tags in the link), and general details such as device type, browser and country. These analytics don't identify you or follow you to other websites. When you send us a form, we may also note how you found us, such as a Google search, our Google Business Profile or a social media link. Pages that show a map load it from Google Maps, and Google may collect data through that map under Google's Privacy Policy.

On our booking pages. Our online booking pages, at book.fizzyhousecleaningdenver.com, are run by our online booking provider and, unlike this website, use cookies. They set cookies the booking form needs to work, and cookies that record how you arrived: the website or link that sent you (including any campaign tags in the link) and your device type, operating system, browser and screen size. The network provider that delivers the pages sets a short-lived security cookie that helps block automated traffic, and the card form from Stripe, our payment processor, sets cookies that Stripe uses to prevent fraud. The booking system keeps what you enter in the booking form, how you arrived and your IP address with your booking.

How we use it

  • To answer your request: a quote, a question or a booking.
  • To confirm we got your quote request. When you send the Get a Quote form, we automatically send one short text to the phone number you gave and one email to the address you gave. Messages sent from our contact page are answered by a person. If you answer one of our ads, we may send that same short text and email to the details you gave on the form, and a person picks it up from there.
  • To schedule, carry out and follow up on your cleaning, including confirmations, reminders and receipts.
  • To take payment, place and release authorization holds, and handle refunds, fees and questions about a charge.
  • To keep our books, resolve disputes and comply with the law.
  • To keep our team, your home and our business safe.

We don't sell your personal information, share it for anyone else's marketing, or use it for advertising.

Calls, texts and emails

By submitting a form on this site, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email and automated text message about your request and any cleaning you book. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help. Our SMS Terms explain how our texts work. Stopping texts doesn't cancel any cleaning you've booked. We'll reach you another way.

The lead forms in our ads on social media apps, such as Facebook and Instagram, ask for the same permission, in the same words we show next to the button on our forms, and sending one of those forms is how you agree there. We check that the form really shows those words before we treat sending it as your agreement to texts. If such a form has a box about texting and you leave it unchecked, we don't text you, though we may still answer your request by email.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of companies to run the business. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job for us:

  • Vercel hosts this website and our customer records system.
  • Supabase stores our customer and lead records.
  • Our online booking provider runs our booking and scheduling. Ask us if you'd like to know which company it is.
  • Stripe processes card payments.
  • Quo (formerly OpenPhone) carries our calls and text messages.
  • Google Workspace (Gmail) carries our email.
  • Google Maps shows the maps on our pages.
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) shows our ads and passes us the answers from the lead forms attached to them.
  • Make (Make.com) carries those lead-form answers from Meta to our customer records system.

An app that shows our ads keeps its own record of what you did with them, under its own policy: for Facebook and Instagram, Meta's Privacy Policy. Beyond what the form sends us, we get nothing from the app about you. We don't send your information back to it, upload customer lists to it or use it to target ads.

The team members assigned to your home see what they need to clean it: your name, address, access instructions and notes about the job.

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect someone's safety or our legal rights, or if the business is sold or merged (the new owner would take on this policy). Otherwise, we don't share it.

How long we keep it

  • Quote requests, messages and call records, including recordings: up to three years after our last contact with you, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back.
  • Answers from an ad's lead form: kept with the quote request they became, for the same three years. A copy also stays in that app's own leads tools, under its policy.
  • Booking, payment and cancellation records: as long as we need them for tax, accounting and card-dispute purposes, usually up to seven years.
  • Keys and access codes: until you stop using our service or ask us to remove them. We return keys and delete codes.

When we no longer need information, we delete it, and shred any paper copies, so it can't be read.

Your choices

  • See, correct or delete your information: email support@fizzyhousecleaningdenver.com. We may ask you to confirm it's you, and we'll respond within 45 days. We can't delete records the law requires us to keep, and we'll tell you if that applies.
  • Texts: reply STOP to any text.
  • Emails: tell us you'd rather not hear from us, or use the unsubscribe link when there is one.

Some privacy laws, such as the Colorado Privacy Act, give people these rights against larger businesses. Those laws may not apply to a business our size, but we honor these requests for everyone, wherever they live. We don't sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising or profiling, so there's nothing to opt out of there.

Because we don't track visitors across websites, the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

Children

Our services are for adults, and this website isn't meant for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

We protect your information with access controls, encryption while it travels over the internet, and by keeping it in the few systems listed above. Card details stay with Stripe, and access codes go only to the team members who need them. No system is perfect. If a security breach affects your information, we'll tell you promptly, and always within the time Colorado law requires.

Changes

Any changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
